The Name of the Next Song is an international platform for artists and researchers. 

 

Founded by Valentina Orrù, it has been featuring many artists with a focus on the social, material and political conditions that inform cultural production in contemporary times. 

 

Based in London (UK), and with roots in Sardinia (IT), The Name of the Next Song looks at these places as starting points of ongoing research into artistic practices in urban and rural areas around the world. The platform presents dialogues, writings and visuals, welcoming contributions from many different voices and perspectives.
